Gary’s background includes years as a stockbroker with E.F. Hutton, leading an underwater dive team that discovered the oldest shipwreck found and recovered in North America and helping people make educated real estate decisions in Austin, Texas. Gary joined the Windermere Team on San Juan Island in 2006, after moving here from San Francisco with his wife Toni. They were so enthralled with the islands and the lifestyle possible here, that they made the move after only two visits.

Buying a waterfront parcel and building their own house gave them an education in permitting and construction that has proven invaluable to friends and clients. Gary enjoyed the process so much, in fact, that he and Toni have recently begun construction on their next home.
